With a need for increased capacity, CDS required an additional SMT line quickly. They were also looking to vertically integrate and bring conformal coating in-house. CDS was wanting to bring in equipment that would be upgrades from their current lines and stick to equipment brands they were already familiar with.
LEL Tech provided an additional MyData SMT line that included a MY15 pick & place, DEK screen printer, Heller reflow oven, & YesTech AOI. In addition to the SMT line, LEL Tech provided CDS with a PVA 650 conformal coating machine to help bring the service in house. LEL Tech provided CDS with a one-stop shop to fulfill their equipment needs including cost-effective equipment, delivery, and service.
CDS was able to quickly increase capacity prior to the holidays and meet the increasing demand. They were also able to vertically integrate and add a new service, conformal coating, to their total offering.
