LEL Decom Case Study - Beltsville, MD
A real estate corporation had a space available that they were unable to lease out due to the equipment and materials being left behind that they were unable to remove themselves. All of the extra equipment prevented them from renting their space and earning greater revenue. LEL was contacted to assess the situation to see if they could help. LEL offered a plan to safely remove the equipment and decommission the data center in a timely manner.
LEL International formed a comprehensive plan for the decommissioning project prior to its start. Electricians were brought in to successfully isolate the data center’s power, and the school’s power was never affected. The entire project was completed ahead of the client’s time frame and safely with zero injuries. The extremely satisfied real estate corporation was left with the space in its original condition and ready to be leased.
